Description
‘’BACK TO BASICS: TAKING HSE TO ITS RIGHT PLACE IN GHANA’’ Brought to you by the Ghana Institute of Safety and Environmental Professionals (GhISEP), the national HSE summit 2016 will be the foremost platform for discussing the most prevalent issues facing health, safety and environmental professionals in Ghana today. As we strive towards our common objective of improving the health, safety and environmental situation of our country, we look forward with optimism to the continued collaboration of all key stakeholders. The HSE Summit will offer HSE professionals the opportunity to share experiences, opportunities and successes in improving HSE in our workplaces, communities and our dear nation. The Summit is designed to foster discussion and interaction between presenters and participants on a variety of topics relevant to the management of HSE. Themes such as legislation, Psychosocial Hazards, Professional Effectiveness, Certification of Professionals and Practitioners, and risk management will run throughout the event, with presentations delving deeper into current strategies and initiatives in the field of HSE. Psychological hazards in the workplace is of special interest at this summit as a number of bodies have recognised the subject as a serious issue to both individuals and business but still remains relatively unapproached or unaddressed. There is going to be the big topic discussion which will focus on whether Ghana has the basics it deserves for a successful HSE Management. A collection of business executives, regulators, academics and trade body representatives are coming together to ensure that Ghana takes the right steps and approach to improve on HSE.
