Elected officers of the Institute are
• National President
• National Vice President
• National Organizer
• General Secretary
• National Treasurer
• Preside at meetings of the Executive Board.
• Preside at regular and special meetings of the Institute.
• Represent at meetings of other organizations where official representation of the Institute is desirable.
• Assure that the Institute opinions and views on national activities are appropriately expressed.
• Appoint such committees as are necessary to implement the objectives of the Institute.
• Submit an annual report of the Institute activities to the appropriate bodies.
• Preside as the Chairperson of the Executive Committee and at meetings of members in the absence of the President.
• Succeed to the office and carry out the duties in case the President is unable to serve.
• Be responsible for all forms of Institute communication with members.
• Supervise the Institute publicity activities.
• Present to the Executive Board reports concerning assigned duties and responsibilities.
• Perform such other duties as may be assigned by the President.
• The duties shall be assumed by an officer selected by the National President if the National Vice President is unable to perform his/her duties.
• Assume the role and duties whenever the Vice President is unable to do so or the position becomes vacant.
• Monitor the progress of all the standing and task force committees assigned by the President, offering suggestions, and making recommendations that will be beneficial to the membership of the organization.
• Recommends the establishment of specific task force committees and their objectives and composition, as appropriate.
• Coordinates the details, in conjunction with the National Vice President, of all membership meetings and the annual membership meeting.
• Perform such other duties as may be assigned by the National President.
• Keep minutes and attendance of regular Institute meetings, distribute and publish minutes as directed by the Executive Board.
• Issue notices of regular and special meetings of the Institute.
• Record all resolutions and actions of members and Executive Board to bring to the attention of the proper persons, committees or organizations.
• Announce all proposed changes to the Constitution and Bylaws to members.
• Maintain official records of the Institute, the Executive Board and their transactions except those specially assigned by the Bylaws to another officer or committee chairperson.
• Assume the duties of the Treasurer or Vice President, as necessary, until another Treasurer or Vice President is elected.
• Perform such other duties as assigned by the President.
• The role and duties shall be assumed by an officer selected by the National President if the General Secretary is unable to perform his/her duties.
